Our Story: Born from Faith, Love, and a Father’s Legacy
Friendship and Faith Through Connection
Because no one should feel alone — friendship and compassion, one call at a time.
The Caring Companion Network was created through love, faith, and the belief that every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and cared for.
Founded by Sally Blessing, a former trauma nurse and medic, the program began as a heartfelt prayer — one that grew into a mission to bring friendship, faith, and encouragement to seniors and adults who may feel forgotten.

Meet Our Founder — Sally Blessing
With a passion for helping others since the age of 14, Sally has dedicated her life to service. Her experience as a trauma nurse and medic opened her heart to people in pain, isolation, and fear — and inspired her to reach them with compassion and grace.
Through her own personal journey — overcoming challenges, raising three children, and caring for others in difficult times — Sally discovered her true calling: to bring comfort to those who feel alone.
At the end of her father’s life, there were moments she couldn’t always be there. From that pain came purpose — the vision for The Caring Companion Network, a ministry dedicated to ensuring no one feels forgotten or unseen.
“This program was born from love — for my daddy, for my community, and for the God who calls us to care for one another.” — Sally Blessing
In Loving Memory of Howard P. Jennings
This ministry is lovingly dedicated to Sally’s late father, Howard P. Jennings — a proud U.S. Navy veteran, a man of strength and integrity, and the hardest-working man she has ever known.
His love for his “baby girl” and his unwavering faith continue to inspire every act of compassion shared through this program.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18
